Quattro, the astonishing restaurant located in a high rise occupied by offices, is quite a surprise. The very graphic black and white floor is impressive as are the neon lights hanging from the ceiling, the terrace covered in exotic plants, and the large high tables near the bar shaped in the form of waves. It is daring, but harmonious and tasteful. If you were to define the cuisine in two words they would be “Italian” and “fish” such as the very elegantly presented fish tartar, seasoned with pesto and a lovely harmony of flavors with the sweetness of the dried tomatoes and the black eggplant cream which ties it all together and contrasts with the crisp, refreshing artichokes and arugula. The filet of sea bass is served with firm artichokes, tender mushrooms, juicy roasted tomatoes, and shallot ravioli. The slightly sweet, soft center of the ravioli contrasts with the tartness and seasoning of the vegetables. And for something a bit crunchier, and an unexpected flavor, the dish includes the very refreshing, generous almond crumble. The menu also includes Italian classics such as pizza, risotto, pasta in all shapes and forms, and ravioli, naturally featuring all the flavors of Italy.
