Magazzino offers traditional, generous dishes tailored to Israeli taste. Add to that, hip industrial design, and a warm, welcoming vibe and you get an excellent restaurant. At lunch, the place caters to business people from Tel Aviv, enjoying a good quality quick meal at a decent price. In the evening you will find young, hipster couples sitting at the bar enjoying pizza with a cocktail or wine, and on the weekend it is packed with families with young kids running around once they have finished their kids menu. The grilled asparagus and crudo intias, two very popular dishes in Israel, are perfectly done. The papardelle ragu is a lovely interpretation of the traditional Italian dish with mushrooms and chestnuts not really a summer dish, but a good, comforting option in winter. The cake showcase is breathtaking, featuring a giant chocolate cake, classic cheesecake and other creative desserts that one cannot stop thinking about throughout the entire meal. Magazzino is not the most sophisticated Italian restaurant in Tel Aviv, but it provides very good food, a fun atmosphere, professional friendly service and great value for money.
