Cafe Nordoy is affiliated with one of the trendy Tel-Aviv boutique hotels, located between the renovated old authentic Tel-Aviv, full of charm, and modern Tel Aviv. Considerable thought has gone into the interior decoration with its soft lighting, carefully chosen music and suited waiters. The menu shifts between extreme simplicity such as tagliatelli with butter and a generous pinch of pepper, and more elaborate dishes such as lamb chops with spicy yogurt or gazpacho with parmesan mousse, and more daring creations such as delightfully creamy and rich home-made ice cream with olive oil, served in a very simple dish. French and Italian recipes are showcased including aligot, onion soup, or burrata with grilled clementines. The vibe is warm, the staff attentive and the manager is very present and efficient.
